Certification is the official recognition and designation of achievement and expertise.  MCHC provides certification for medical coding, risk adjustment, practice management, auditing, and compliance. Health care is continuously changing and standards are growing more complex.  Certification is not a current requirement in all states, however many employers see the value in employing certified staff improving best practices with the organization.

Certification will demonstrate your knowledge in regulations, requirements, guidelines and industry standards. MCHC certifications will demonstrate proficiency as a healthcare administrative professional.

The Certified Medical Coding Professional (CMCP) exam is administered an by MCHC.  By passing the CMCP certification examination, you are designated as a health care professional in Medical coding and auditing. 

The Certified Medical Auditing Professional (CMAP) exam is administered an by MCHC.  By passing the CMAP certification examination, you are designated as a professional health care auditor. 

The Certified Healthcare Compliance Professional (CHCP) certification exam is administered an by MCHC.  By passing the CHCP certification examination, you are designated as a health care professional in compliance. 

The Certified Healthcare Practice Manager (CHPM) exam is administered an by MCHC.  By passing the CHPM certification examination, you are designated as a healthcare practice manager. 

The Certified ICD-10-CM Coder (CICD) exam is administered an by MCHC.  By passing the CICD certification examination, you are designated as an ICD-10-CM Expert.
